3-week journey through ezra

this is a Journey of Rebuilding, Waiting, and Trusting God.

The book of Ezra isn’t just about rebuilding a temple—it’s about what it looks like to trust God when progress feels slow, opposition rises, and His timing doesn’t match your expectations.

Over three weeks, you’ll be guided through Scripture in a way that helps you:

  • understand what’s actually happening in the Text
  • see how it applies to your current season
  • and walk away with a deeper, steadier trust in God

what to expect:

This study is designed to walk you slowly and intentionally through the book of Ezra—one chapter at a time—so you can actually see God’s character in the middle of your own rebuilding, waiting, and resistance.

Your Weekly Rhythm

Our 3-week journey begins on Monday, May 25.

Each week, you’ll be guided through selected chapters in Ezra using the devotional, which includes reflection questions and prompts to help you process the text personally throughout the week at your own pace.

Then on Fridays, we’ll come together live on Zoom to reflect on what we’ve been reading, walk through key themes, and make space for worship, prayer, and discussion together.

Live Weekly Gatherings
Fridays at 8 PM ET (approximately 90 minutes)

  • May 29
  • June 5
  • June 12

this is more than a study.

This is about learning to recognize God in your own seasons of rebuilding.

As you move through the text, you’ll be invited to slow down, pay attention, and let Scripture speak into where you are right now— not just where you’re trying to get to.

How This Journey Unfolds:

week one: God is Still a Promise Keeper (ezra 1-2)

When life doesn’t look how you thought it would, it’s easy to question what God said.

focus:

  • How God stirs hearts and fulfills His promises—even after long seasons of waiting
  • what it looks like to leave what’s comfortable and step into the unknown with faith
  • how to recognize when God is moving, even if it doesn’t feel obvious yet

Week 2: When Progress Feels Slow (Ezra 3-6)

This is the part no one talks about—the resistance, the delays, the discouragement.

FOCUS:

  • How to stay grounded when progress feels slow or interrupted
  • what to do when opposition shows up in subtle and unexpected ways
  • how to trust that a delay is not denial—but often God’s protection and process

Week 3: Realignment of the Heart (Ezra 7-10)

God doesn’t just care about what you’re building—He cares about your heart.

FOCUS:

  • What true spiritual renewal and conviction actually look like
  • how to approach God with honesty, not perfection
  • how to return to a place of wholehearted trust and alignment with Him
